Issues to please remember:
- when re-shelving, a mis-shelved book is a lost book, so make sure that books are properly in their places. Putting a book back arbitrarily at the end of the row will not do!
- when putting books in the holding area at the back of circulation (under the window), please make sure to file them correctly according to the rough sort letters indicated on the shelves. This will facilitate re-shelving later.
- when discharging a book, check to make sure that it's not a reserve before you put it in the holding area for re-shelving. All reserves need to go back on the reserve shelf!
- reserve books, articles, and music CDs must be discharged before putting back on the shelf. Otherwise the patron accrues fines at an alarming rate!
